Service Dog Certification & Training

The Dog Nanny can provide Service Task Training for all except scent detection, as we do not stock scents for training.

The Dog Nanny will also Evaluate and Test for the International All Access Testing Title.

Private Classes – Service Dog Training

Private Sessions are available on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 10:30am – 12:30pm, and Fridays between the hours 10:30am – 3:30pm & 6pm- 8pm.

  • 1st Appointments $160.00 (Consult & Training)
  • Subsequent Appointments $85.00
  • International Standard All Access Testing Fee: $350.00
  • All Sessions must be paid for in advance, 2 weeks prior to scheduled date.
  • 1st session is done at The Academy, so I can meet the dog for the first time on neutral territory, thereafter, sessions would be where deemed most appropriate for issues to be worked on.
  • Academy located at 1963 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil, ON, L9S 4B4 – Blue Steel Roof, Union Jack Flag

Please ensure if you need to cancel your appointment you do so 72 hours prior to appointment by phone and/or Email or your fee can not be transferred to another date.

Homework notes provided by email after each class.

Service

  • Dogs trained to perform tasks related to Handlers condition(s).
  • Dogs required to Pass All Access Testing.
  • In Ontario Canada currently ONLY Guide Dogs are Government legislated to be allowed in any Establishment.
  • However, businesses are allowing all types of Service Dogs, not just Guide Dogs access.

Support

  • Dogs trained to perform tasks related to Handlers condition(s).
  • Dogs required to Pass All Access Testing.
  • In Ontario Canada currently Emotional Support is not a recognized designation.
  • However, businesses are allowing all types of Service Dogs, not just Guide Dogs access.

(What is the definition of a Support Dog – Basically for someone who may need assistance with some tasks.)

Therapy

  • Therapy dogs provide comfort to Seniors and Children via visits with their handler. Additional Programs such as, Paws To Read, Court Dogs, Exam Stress Relief.
  • These dogs do not qualify for All Access. However, businesses are allowing Therapy Dogs access, due to the level of training and their natural temperament.

Payment

You may pay by Cash or E-Mail Transfers.

Payment secures your spot in Group Classes or your Private Session.

(Please note, only those that have paid in full are guaranteed their spot sessions(s))

E-Transfers make payable to "info@dognanny.ca" use your dogs Name as collection Password.

Cash can be dropped off at The Academy at anytime (Please ensure you mark your envelope with your name and session date).

All Fees are Non-Refundable.

However Transfers can be applied if you have given notice as follows:

  • Group - 2 weeks Prior to Start Date
  • Private Session - 72 Hours prior to session date.

Class sizes are limited to ensure personal attention.
